Winter Fair and a Proposal *Vlog*

A couple of weeks ago, Ben and I, as well as Kerri and her boyfriend Josiah went to the Brandon Winter Fair with the family. 

We all piled into the 15 passenger van, and spent the day enjoying the fair and our family. It was a blast! Especially being able to share the experience together with my fiancé. <3

So, we made a Vlog... and here it is!

Royal Manitoba Winter Fair 2017

Back in March, we took a trip to the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair in Brandon. Instead of taking pictures this year, I decided to make a vlog to share our experience.

I've gone to the Fair with my family almost every year for as long as I can remember. To me, it will always hold special memories as something that we have done together.

2016 Family Trip Vlog (part 1)

Hi. :)

First of all, I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone out there who showed love and support following my last post. Our family was blown away, and felt every single one of your prayers. You were all God's instruments in starting the healing process, so once again... THANK YOU!

The other day, I finally got to putting together the first vlog in our 2016 family trip series. 

I know, it took me a while! Normally I would have had time during school hours, in between grading and helping with homework, but this year I was teaching a 3rd grader, which requires a lot more attention than high school students! So now that our school year is finished... it is time to vlog. :)

Anyway, here it is. Part 1!

Thanksgiving Vlog

Hey all! The promised two post a week hasn't been happening because... WE ARE LEAVING FOR A TRIP SOUTH IN A WEEK-ISH, AHHHH!! And we still have a LOT of fall work to finish yet. :)

Currently, our "To do list" includes...

• Getting wood for the winter (Which mom and the boys have been working on for the past couple of days. (Picture post to come))
• Building the shell of an addition to Josh and Rebecca's house (Which, also, the guys have been working on the past couple of days.)
• Bringing cows home from the pasture
• Bringing bales home
• Fixing the RV, and getting it ready for the trip
• PACKING
• Finishing the first quarter of school (so we can take a month off... YAY!)
• Converting a pull behind trailer into a bunkhouse for the trip

Wow, I shouldn't have written that all down. It seems like a lot more once it is written down. 

Anyway, that is why I've not been blogging much. But I'll try harder.

Ok, so, moving on.

I made this vlog, and I thought I'd share it with you all.  :)

Every hour vlog

Ker had this great idea (Well, it wasn't technically her idea, she got it from someone else. But she told me about it, so... it was her idea. :) to do an "Every Hour Vlog". We did simply as the title suggests, turned on our cameras every hour no matter what we were doing.

What I didn't count on was the vlog becoming so long, so... if you get to the end of it, that's great! ;)

The beginning is shaky because I tried to use a selfie stick, not the best idea for video I found out.

But anyway, I hope you all enjoy this vlog!

Skyzone vlog

On Sunday we went with our good friends, the Thiessens to a place called "Skyzone". I forgot to bring my camera, so I made a vlog of our adventure instead. :)

Our favourite part was playing dodgeball, which I don't have a lot of video of because I was playing. But ya, play dodgeball at a trampoline park... it is SO fun!

Harvest Vlog

Camping Vlog

Hey all!

Well, I did it again... another vlog! :)

This one I took while we went camping last weekend. It is super long, but I made it as short as possible with the almost-80 videos I took. :)

I had a few issues with the volume of a few of the clips, it sounded fine when I was finished last night, but I noticed after uploading that some of the music was to loud and some of the clips were to quiet. I didn't want to have to go through the uploading process again... so I just left it as is. (Sorry about the volume adjustments you will have to make.)

A-NY-WAY. I have so much fun making these vlogs because I find it easy to be true to who I am, and it is fun to give you all a glimpse of what life with my huge (amazing!) family looks like.

Sister Vlog (part 2)

What?!? This is the last day of June?!?! Thus the last day of "Hello June"... we made it!!! :)

This has been a blast, challenging at times... but still great fun. I loved being able to do this with my sista's and maybe I can convince them do it again sometime! ;)

I will most definitely continue with posting often, though not every day. I have made a promise to myself to post a LEAST once a week, so you will still be seeing lots of me. :)

See all of those happy faces?? I am happy today. :)

Sister Vlog (part 1)

It is Vlog time!

We cut the vlog into two parts, because we got so many questions... and it just ended up being way to long for one video. So tonight... part one and tomorrow I will put the other part up.

Thank you by the way for all of the questions! We were unfortunately not able to answer all of them (otherwise the vlog would have been way to long), but we appreciated them all!

Hey all! So we (us "Hello June" bloggers) are going to be posting a vlog together on the very last day of June. We were wanting to do a Q&A type thing but in order to do that... we need questions! So if there are any questions that you have, we would love for you to tell us. Big or small, complicated or simple, funny or serious, you can ask us about ourselves, our family, our faith, whether roosters crow only in the morning, if Megan snores... everything and anything that you are curious about,  now is your chance to ask!
We are also going to be adding Ker to our little group, though she doesn't have a blog (yet), she still is part of this sister tribe... so we will throw her in there as well! :)
Soo... ask away! If we don't get any questions, our vlog may possibly be boring, so please... please, PLEASE! :)

Vlog

I have for you all my very first vlog!
I was completely out of my comfort zone filming it. (as you can see by the first minute I had a hard time just beginning! :)
But I have to admit that it was kinda sorta fun!
I also stole my sister's idea. (I have a terrible habit of doing so)
I hope that she will forgive me... eventually! ;)

Anyway, if you like it... let me know. (and I just might make more vlogs in the future.)
And if you don't like it... well then, just don't watch it ever again. ;)
