The Pauls Family Trip ~ Day 11 (November 12)

We woke up in the Young's driveway

We were once again welcomed inside their home and were fed a scrumptious breakfast of homemade french toast with maple syrup. The kids played together for a short while as we were getting ready to leave.

Mikaya and Anna... a month apart in age, both 6.

Micah and Jaden... both 3 years old.

Brooke and Rebecka were born on the exact same day, only about an hour apart! 

The funny thing was that they were SO much alike...

Soon we were  once again saying “goodbye”, packing up and pulling out of the driveway to continue our journey in a westerly direction.

As we drove along we saw people planting flowers along the roadside and watched with sadness as palm tree sightings became fewer and cotton and peanut fields appeared in our view once again.

I had to take a picture of this and share it, I figure this must be where the church gets their chicken :)

Along the day's journey we stopped at Lane Southern Orchard in Georgia and looked around the shop there.

We bought some cinnamon candied pecans, milk chocolate pecans and oranges (all incredibly yummy!)

Later we stopped at Wal-mart, then Chick-Fil-A (couldn’t be in the states and not eat there at least once!!) in Columbus, Georgia for supper.

We found a campground called Lake Pines nearby and there we spend the night.
Mom and Dad did load after load of laundry until around 11 p.m. while Ker, Bob and I put the kiddoes to bed and watched Waltons.
The weather was already much colder then it was in SC, but still warmer then Manitoba! 
I won't mention that some of us are being wimpy Canadians and complaining about how cold it is here :)

And so, ya... that was our day!
