The season of winter is rapidly approaching. Don't hate me for saying so. It is the truth.
Before we know it the snow will be falling and we will be preparing for Christmas, along with experiencing all of the joys that come with it.
Last year close to Christmas I did some baking with the kids. The hydro picked that day to go out, so we ended up baking cookies in the ashes of the fire in the wood stove. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. :)
I uploaded these pictures along with pictures of our annual Christmas perogie making "party", a long time ago, but never got around to posting them. You can never waste a good upload... so, here they are.
