I bet that you are thinking that I'm going to say the reason that I haven't been blogging has been because we've been crazy busy.... wellll...... you are soooo right.
The reason I haven't been blogging is because we've been CRAZY busy!!!!

I'm assuming that you have already guessed why we've been so busy... but just in case I'll tell you....
MY SISTER IS GETTING MARRIED IN 13 DAYSSSSSS!!!!!
WHEEEW!!!!!

Megan's dress has arrived from China safe and soundish, hair trials have been done, bridesmaid dresses are almost finished, bridal shower has been had, most of the decorations have been bought, plans are being set in stone (ect, ect, ect).
I think reality has finally hit. This is actually happening! And it is happening SOOOOOON!

The Muncks Visit

To say that we had an amazing time would be a HUGE understatement. I could go on and on about their time here... but in order to keep this post shorter.... I'll just list my most favorite memories :)

- Hearing everybodies happy voices all talking at once when our friends walked in the door.
- Talking, listening and laughing
- Milking with my bestie

- Liz and I sharing our hearts with each other in the barn
- Playing Bockey (boot hockey on the ice) HILARIOUS fun!!
- Teaching Lizzy how to skate :)
- Riding the car hood with Becks
- Chatting in the kitchen
- Laughing, Laughing and LAUGHING!!!
- Watching and learning as Liz loaded our dishwasher (heehee)
- BUNKBEDS (winks for Liz and Becks!)
- Walking our lane with Liz
- Playing WhooNu (or as we now say it... WHOOHOO!!!!)

- Talking about our "dream cars" as Liz and I sat in Josh and Becka's Suburban
- Looking at pictures of the Ford F-series on the internet (who knew that there is a F-750!?!?)
- Talking weddings
- Playing "spoons" and "what if" till mid-night
- Taking engagement pictures for Henry and Megan

- Watching "Courages" together
- Firing up the wood stove in the skating shack and talking LATE into the night and into the morning on our last day together.

Hearts and Horses....

While I was walking back to the house after milking this morning, I looked over at the horses pen and was surprised to see a heart in their bale!!

So I got the camera and snapped some pictures to share with ya'll :)

From the mouth of my (soon to be) big brother....

Big brothers are one of my most favourite things.... so you can imagine what a HUGE excitement it is for me to be getting another one!!! Henry is already such an amazing big brother, and someone that I look up to a lot. 

Little did we know that God's blessing to Megan would become such a HUGE blessing to our whole family.

Anyway, this is a comment that he left today on my post "Hey girls". It was such a HUGE encouragement to me that I thought I'd share it with you all in hopes that it will be the same for you.

Even as a guy I can relate to everything your writing. 

I didn't grow up with parents to guard my heart and lead me. So my journey has been one of many disappointments thinking that I can't just sit around waiting for my princess to make her self known to me. 

I set lines for myself and I had my convictions, and I went beyond them thinking that my standards were too high and the type of girl I was looking for did not exist.

I would like to share with you that even if you move your convictions and seek out someone on your own you will always come out of it disappointed. 

The best advice I could give you and anyone else looking for a godly mate is just to have patience. This is not a simple task I know, but God is concerned with our impatience.

You have to sit back and tell yourself that there are 6 billion plus people on this planet. One of those people out there is praying the same thing you are and one day, in God's timing he will cross your paths.

Trust me... you'll know when it's right, He'll confirm it so many times that your head will spin! As long as you keep Him as your focus.

Till that time comes, here is a song that I would come across every time I would get lonely....
