Theeeey're Back!!

I looked back on yesterday's post and found that a bunch of the words I had written were missing. I was so tired when I posted, that I'm not surprised that it got messed up... but for those of you who were wondering why I ended it so abruptly, it was an accident. :) I did have more to say.

On another note.... Mom and Dad are back!!
They got home safe and sound this afternoon, and we are all happy. :)

These two basically sum up how we all are feeling right now.

We spent this evening listening to stories of our parent's Mexican adventures, and getting all caught up on each other's lives.

Thanks for partying with us!! I never regret capturing these moments, because I know that they won't last forever.

Peace out! :)

Snow Day

We decided that today would be a day of bare minimum. We did what needed to be done, and took the rest of the day off to enjoy the AMAZING weather, and relax.

The boys took the snowmobile out, and it was zipping around the yard all afternoon.

These three musketeers slid down their hill over, and over, and over, and... well, you get the picture.

Zach, of course, had to show them how it was done. Or in this case, how it is not done.

These smiles melt my heart. <3

Mikey has loved being able to play outside for the past couple of days! He is happy to be able to visit the horses, and he got his first snowmobile ride. :)
All he really wanted to do though, was walk on the snowdrifts, and slide down the snowbanks. I thought he would be so ready to be inside after our long walk around the yard, but he was mad that he had to go in the house. He is definitely still loving the outdoors, no matter how cold!

Family and Friends

Two more sleeps!!
We are all getting excited for you to come home to us!

Yesterday Zach opened his gift. He was pleased (to say the least!) with it! He played his bass all day, we got to listen to songs like "We are the Champions" and "You Really Got Me Now" over and over. :)

Meg came over and spent the day with us. We played ping pong, watched "Say Yes to the Dress", ate cheesecake blizzards, and had a birthday supper for Si Bear.

It's supposed to be Zuma from Paw Patrol. I was to lazy to make black icing, so it looks kinda funny. :)

In the evening, we put the kiddos to bed, and went over to Josh and Becca's for girls night. We had lots of fun (as always)! I forgot to take pictures... so you'll just have to take my word for it. :)

Today we got school and cleaning done, we had some friends over for the supper and the evening, so I made some food for that.

We played "Watch Your Mouth", and did some girl talk. :)

And that's that. :)
Enjoy your last day in Mexico!!
