Yesterday we had the opportunity of having our Pastor Tony, his wife Joanna and their family over for the day. We had a blast riding horses, playing football and eating good food :p

Megan took some pictures from our day yesterday. I decided to share them.... cuz' really.... what good are pictures if you don't share em' right?? OF COURSE RIGHT!!! (ever watched "fiddler of the roof"??? ahem...)
After church we went down to the lake for a baptism.
While there one of our new friends (who also just celebrated the birth of his first son.... Congratulations David and Amber!!) offered to take a picture for us.....
A little while into umm.... picture-taking, we realized that something funny was going on....
Maria decided that she wanted to be part of our family (cuz' who wouldn't right??? :),

We headed to the park with some friends for a picnic, and we also played a MEAN game of football.
(Just FYI, MEAN usually means.... GOOD but in this instance it also means umm.... MEAN. Cause one of the reluctant participants ended up with a sprained ankle :( (PROMISE... it wasn't me!! :))
But it was FUNNNNNN!!!!!
Afterwards we cooled off with some freezies... love freezies!
I think Maria was enjoying them a tad bit to much :)
OHHHH and I MUSN'T forget!!!!! I got to drive a GRAND CARAVAN!!!!
Even though it IS a dodge... I'm cool with that, cuz' it wuz still FUN!!!

After all the park fun... we headed over to friends house for a campfire. There are no pictures... I'm assuming that's because Meg was to busy laughing and having a good time like the rest of us :)

Once again... today is Monday. So I'll leave you with a song.
This song is one of my FAVOURITE GVB songs. Once again starring my FAVOURITE GVB man. This song is from the first Gaither video that we heard, within a few weeks Ker and I had all the songs memorized and loved to sing them at the top of our lungs while doing the dishes. This song quickly became my favorite.... I hope you enjoy it as much as I do :)
We went to a conference this past weekend called "Higher Calling". It was a really encouraging and inspirational time, and the experience left me in awe of how AMAZING God is!
Saturday we had a pizza picnic in the park....

And we were able to play FOOTBALL with some people from Lighthouse church. Meg snuck away from the game and took some pictures.... I love action pictures, especially football action pictures :)

On Sunday the preacher that was speaking that morning talked about how that no matter what situation we are in or what kind of valley we are going through, we can cling to a hope that things are going to get better.
Even if we have troubles and hardships our whole life long, and we never see the miracles that we are so longing for.
We can still hang on and keep fighting because when we have Christ in our hearts, we can look forward to an eternity in heaven.
As I was thinking about all of this I heard one of my favorite songs play on the radio called "Move" by Mercy Me.
Since it is Music Monday and since it fits with all the thoughts that are going through my head right now, that I would share it with you all.
It's a great reminder to me that I don't have to give up when I go through hardships. I know I'm not here on earth to have a good time and live a perfect life, I'm here to give God glory no matter what the situation may be.
I can live each day loving, praising and serving God with all that I am because I know that no matter what happens... there ARE going to be brighter days!!
Okay, I'm starting to feel like all I'm ever posting is "Music Monday's". Do you feel that way too? I don't want to drive you all bonkers!
It's just that I'm having so much fun posting songs that are and have been so special to me... I just don't want to stop! :)
I'll tell you all a little about my week... just so it's not quite so incredibly boring :)
It's still crazy rainy around here, the guys are using every single opportunity that they have to get into the fields and get spraying done. We are almost done... so it is paying off!
A couple weeks ago we started selling produce at one of the local farmer's markets. It has been fun prepping and feeling the satisfaction of selling something that you made! So ya, we are busy with that every Thursday.
I drove my Grandma and Grandpa's Pauls' civic today! Aaand I drove my Grandpa Rowley's civic as well, it is a standard, so of course I stalled it a couple times before my brain connected with my hands and feet and I was actually able to remember how to drive a standard! :P (we don't have any standard vehicles around anymore).
With all the Civic driving that I did today, I was on top of the world :) Ooo la la!!
Now all I need is someone with a red Mustang convertible to come driving into our yard... ah, then I would feel like I was in car heaven!

This song is has ment alot to me this past little while. It is SO amazing to know that God will never give us more then what He know that we are able to handle, and all we have to do is look up and believe that God will help us to be strong enough.

I've seen a bunch of things that people do when they reach 100 posts, and I think that the most coolest one that I saw was writing 100 things that you may or may not know about me.
This could be rather difficult, but I'm going to try my bestest not to put you to sleep while you are reading it K?
I'll start at random :)
1. I don't like whipped cream

I got to thinking about when I used to like snakes.... and I got to remembering that Josh and I took a picture long ago in the "good old days" when we used to catch and play with snakes for fun *shiver*.
So I looked back through pictures and.... FOUND IT!!!
And since a post really isn't a post without a picture... I decided to post it (just because I'm nice like that :).
This was taken in 2005, during the "big front teeth" days, *sigh* I had NO idea....
AAAAnd since it is Monday (aka, Music Monday), I decided to throw in a song as well for ya (that is.... if you actually made it this far!). This is one of my MOST favourite Gaither Vocal Band Songs, featuring my most favourite singer.... Marshall Hall!
I came across this song a couple months ago, and immediately loved it!
It's a great reminder to me that my problems really are not as big as they may seem. When I look at all that God has done, and all that He has created I come to the realization that if He can create the world... He can do anything!! I will lift my eyes to the Maker, because He was and He is and He will be forever!
His 4 year old boy died from scarlet fever in 1871. Shortly after he and his family suffered great financial loss during the Chicago fire.
In 1873 Horatio Spafford his wife Anna and his 4 daughters decided to travel to Europe. Horatio, discovering that he would be delayed due to some business that he had to deal with, decided to send his wife and daughters on ahead of him.
A few days later he received a devistating telegram from Anna that said "saved alone".
This ship that Horatio's family was traveling on had collided with another ship in the heavy fog and had sunk. Only his wife was saved alive.
Later as Horatio made the trip across the ocean to be reunited with Anna, someone informed him that they were approaching the area where his daughters has been lost.
He went up on deck and wrote the words that later became the famous hymn, "It is well with my soul".
I think it is so amazing that even though this man had lost nearly everything on this earth, he still was able to say "It is well with my soul".
He understood that even though he may have been having deep sorrows and trouble here on the earth, it was still well with his soul, because he had his sins forgiven, he had a God that loved him and he had a heavenly home to look forward to.
And this has inspired me to say for myself.

I've decided to blog every time I have completed one of the items in my Dream List. And give a review of how it went and if it was as exciting and rewarding as I thought it would be.
Yesterday I finished the 90 day bible blast.
While I probably won't do it again, it was a great experience.
There were times that it was a little bit frustrating trying to find the time to read all those chapters in one day, and there was a really frustrating time when I was seven days behind! But all in all it was fun.
The reason I wouldn't do it again is simply because I'm more of a "study" type person. It was hard to get loads out of what I was reading because I was always in a hurry to finish. When I read the word I like to write lots and think lots while I'm doing it, and while doing the bible blast, it was hard to do that because I was usually reading 10 - 20 chapters a day.
But it was good. There were so many things that I learned through it all.
I've decided to participate in Music Monday this week...
