Home

Exactly three weeks after our departure date... we arrive home.
Yesterday we traveled until we reached Souix City and today completed the remaining nine hundred miles.
Of course, as per usual... we were welcomed back into Canada with terrible icy roads, high winds and freezing cold.
But, cold or not, we are happy to be home, especially since we opened our door to find family that we missed, warm fires blazing in the fireplace, and food being prepared.

And so ends another Pauls family adventure.
I hope that you all enjoyed sharing in our journey!
Until next time...

The long road home

Beginning at fifteen thousand, twenty-six miles away from home we drove to lessen the distance from where we were to where we are going.
We stopped for lunch at Dairy Queen in Santa Rosa, a treat to break up the miles.
We continued to drive (stopping only for gas) until we reached Liberal, Kansas, where we are now spending the night.
Two more sleeps (Lord willing, and weather permitting!) until we reach home!

El Paso

I tried to upload a couple of pictures from today... but unfortunately the wifi here isn't co-operating. So... words.

We left the campground and Tuscon at seven thirty early.
Our journey home always includes some shopping time. Since we knew it wouldn't work out to stop in Grand Forks as we usually do (due to the cold) we planned a shopping day in El Paso, Texas. It was a four hour drive from where we were at, so we wanted to get an early start.

Upon arriving at the Outlet Mall, it was lunch time... so we had our first "Whataburger" experience. (yum, yum!)
Then it was time to shop, and shop!
As we went between stores, the sun was shining, the weather warm... yet there were christmas trees, decorations and christmas music playing. It was quite strange, I cannot imagine experiencing a christmas without cold and snow!

The drive to the RV park took us through El Paso, and now we are settled in our campsite with an amazing view of the city lights.
Tomorrow, we make a beeline for home sweet home.

Last day in Arizona

Today was the last full day that we spent here in Tuscon, Arizona.
We made many memories here, but now it is time to move on, and begin our journey homeward.
Tomorrow we hit the road again.
Today we swam lots, and soaked up as much sun as possible.
Here are a few last pictures...

Oh, and today we announce that there is another sibling on it's way!!
Number fourteen y'all!! :)

Sixteenth day

Today was supposed to be the day that we resumed our travels, but upon looking at the weather elsewhere, we decided to stay here for a couple more days.
Yesterday the weather was a little bit cooler as was today, (well, cooler as in only plus twenty degree ;) so we only swam once both days.
There was an ice cream social yesterday... otherwise it was vacation as usual!
Here are a few pictures from today...

Day fourteen

After two full weeks, we are still vacationing and still having a blast :)
The only thing that we did different then what has become normal these past few days was the kids went on a candy hunt that the campground was putting on.
They had fun... and got all sugared up to boot :)
I'll leave you with pictures from our day!

Picture Break

Today I did not take one single picture. And it kinda felt good :)
No worries though... you didn't miss much, we did the same thing that we have been doing for the past couple of days.
And we are staying here until Monday... so there will be plenty more pictures of swimming, eating and exercising to come. :)

Until tomorrow then!

Still

Arizona still.
Tuscon still.
Still the same campground and doing the same things.
Are you ready to see more pictures of the Pauls family making the most of one place?
Good, because here they are :)
