Cousins Nevaeh and Christopher were born on the same day, in the same hospital, in adjoining rooms. Though their due dates were two weeks apart, Nevaeh decided to come late so that her and CJ could share the same birthday.
As a result, of course, a joint first birthday party was in order!
Since both of our babies love the outdoors and animals, Jessica (CJ's mom, also my sweet sister-in-law) and myself decided that we would throw an outdoor barnyard birthday party.
We had a petting zoo, hayride, pony rides, bonfire/hotdog roast, and twin smash cakes.
The weather was a bit cooler, but we weren't going to let that ruin our fun! We all bundled up, and at times huddles around the bonfire. It was cozy!
It's crazy that our babies are already over a year old! Where does the time go?!
It seems like yesterday that Jessica and I were swapping babies and texting each other in the middle of the night when both of our babies were awake.
Now here we are.
Chloe, Jessica's sister, was kind enough to take pictures for us, and she gave me permission to post them here. So I'll leave you with them!
