We said "Goodbye" to Galveston Island at around 8:30 and made our way to a Walmart to stock up on food for the next couple of days.
We are slowly making our way to Tennessee to visit our (amazing!) friends, the Muncks. We are taking advantage of the number of days we have to travel, and today only traveled four hours. Our stopping point being at a campground in Scott, Louisiana.
It is so beautiful here. The weather is actually warmer than it was by the gulf, and we are getting a nice break from the ever present wind that we had parked by the beach.
We got all set up, and began using all the light we have left to get rid of the wiggles that were stored up on the drive over. :)
We are now getting ready to head to McDonald's to get some supper. I think everyone is excited to be eating out for a change... we miss our fast food. :)
